20,000 square feet of cafe and all-electric kitchen space to make fresh and simple meals for a company in their new home.
In close collaboration with the company’s in-house Food Team, I led the foodservice design team at Just Fare that designed the ultimate all-electric commissary kitchen and cafe for a program focused on simplicity and community, one of the first of its size and scale in the Bay Area. Flexible ‘prep pods’ maximize production efficiency in the central kitchen, open sight lines maintain connectivity and mobile service wells and adjacent power are infinitely configurable for flexibility over time. This design will serve them many years into the future. Opened in 2022.
